When it comes to choosing your favorite candy there are so many variables it's astounding.  Many of them make lots of sense and some simply come out of nowhere and surprise you.  Why do people have favorite candies and how did they come about choosing them.  I am going to imagine everyone has a different story and reason, but I am certain some of these reasons are very similar.  So I want to go through a few scenarios that I think are why people choose to eat the candy that they do

Locations and where you were born seem to have an amazing amount of influence on what people do and how they act.  It can be said that location, location, location does indeed affect people more than almost any other thing in their lives.  The location of where they grew up affects how they see the world and what options are available to them.  Some things simply are not available everywhere and that is even true in the United States.  This comes from the differences in what people like and the hard core competition that comes between candies.

Someone's favorite decision in choosing their top candy boxes are really limited by the location they are in and what is available at that moment.  So if you are a child and you only had two options to choose from then those are going to most likely be one of your favorites.  It doesn't matter if 100 other candy boxes exist, only one will matter.

Sight is also a key element into which candy becomes our favorite.  It is truly possible to be so completely attracted to the packaging of candy that it can simply overwhelm all senses and people will live and die by that visual choice.  So if you are starting your own company make sure to spend some time on designing an attractive package because it may be the main reason that someone chooses that candy for life.

Memories and smell are also another major section that people will identify with a favorite candy.  The power of smell is actually one of the most important senses and its connected to memory more so than any other sense.  If you had an amazing time which created a memory and was also tied to a smell then that candy that you are smelling and living with at the time will most likely have a great impact on your life and choices.  So I hope you enjoyed a few ways that candy can become your favorite.
